Fundamentals of Professional Crêpe Making

Fundamentals of Professional Crêpe-Making is an intensive professional course open to the general public. It allows participants to acquire basic crêpe-making skills without enrolling in a certificate program.

Fundamentals of Professional Crêpe Making

During two weeks of hands-on classes, you will learn essential crêpe-making techniques and as well as the professional skills needed to work in today’s creperies and restaurants.

The coursework strikes a balance between traditional and modern-day practices and gives participants the experience they need to work in a professional kitchen.

The five optional models below are offered in conjunction with the two-week course:

  • Buckwheat in all its forms
  • The 4 seasons and 5 flavors of the professional crêpe chef
  • Hints and hacks for the professional crêpe chef
  • Plating crêpes with style
  • The 10 best practices for running a creperie

After completing ‘The Fundamentals of Crêpe-Making’, participants may choose to take individual optional classes (1 module = 1 day) or sign up for a full week which includes all five.

Course Schedule

The full-time, 2-week immersion course takes place at L’Atelier de la Crêpe and in the school’s teaching restaurant.

*Professional safety footwear is required throughout the course and is not included in the tuition costs.
